Getting online with SimSIM follows three simple steps: pick a plan for your destination, scan a QR code to install your eSIM, and land connected — no kiosk, no SIM swap, no waiting. The whole process takes about a minute and is best done from the comfort of your home before you travel.
1

Download the SimSIM app

Get SimSIM from the iOS App Store or Google Play. Create a free account with your email address — it only takes a moment.
2

Choose your destination and plan

Browse 200+ countries and find yours in seconds. Pick a plan by duration — from a weekend getaway to a full month — and by the amount of data that suits your trip, whether that’s light browsing or heavy map use.
3

Install your eSIM

After purchase, scan the QR code sent to your email or use the one-tap install link inside the app. Your phone adds the eSIM digitally — no plastic card, no SIM tray. Do this at home before you travel so everything is ready when you land.
4

Land connected

When you arrive in your destination country, your SimSIM eSIM activates automatically on a trusted local network. Open Google Maps, message on WhatsApp, or call an Uber — you’re already online before you reach the exit.

Before you travel

Install and configure your eSIM before leaving home. You can do it on your sofa — no need to wait until you’re at the airport.

Your regular number still works

SimSIM runs as a second eSIM alongside your regular line. Your phone number doesn’t change and you don’t need to remove your existing SIM. Calls and texts keep coming in on your normal number just as they always have; SimSIM takes care of the data connection while you’re abroad.

Running low?

If you’re burning through data faster than expected, top up in two taps inside the SimSIM app. There’s no reinstall, no new QR code, and no interruption to your connection — just a few extra gigabytes added straight to your active plan.
