# Top Up Your SimSIM Data Mid-Trip

> Running low on data? Add more in two taps inside the SimSIM app — no reinstall, no new QR code, no interruption to your connection.

If you run low on data mid-trip, you can top up directly inside the SimSIM app in seconds. There's no need to buy a new eSIM, reinstall a profile, or scan a new QR code — your existing connection stays active throughout.

## Steps

    Launch SimSIM on your phone.

  <Step title="Go to your active plan">
    Your active plan is displayed on the home screen. Tap it to see your remaining data balance.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap Top Up">
    Select **Top Up** or **Add more data** on your plan screen.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose an amount and confirm payment">
    Pick the additional data amount that suits your needs and confirm payment. The full cost is shown before you commit.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Your balance updates immediately">
    Your data balance is refreshed straight away — no waiting, no restart required.
  </Step>

## Using SimSIM Coins for a top-up

You can use SimSIM Coins toward the cost of a top-up just like a regular plan purchase. A minimum of 15 coins is required to redeem at checkout, and any coins you earn from the top-up are added to your balance automatically.

## Buying a new plan instead
