# How SimSIM works

> Understand the SimSIM flow from choosing a plan to getting connected.

## 1. Choose a plan

Open **Shop**, search for a country or city, and compare the plans available for your destination. You can also browse regional plans.

## 2. Check your device

Before you pay, use the device check and confirm that your phone supports eSIM and is not carrier-locked.

## 3. Install your eSIM

After payment, open the purchased eSIM in **My eSIMs** and tap **Install eSIM**. You need Wi-Fi or another working connection during installation. You can also open the QR or manual installation details when needed.

## 4. Use SimSIM for data

When you arrive, select SimSIM as your mobile data line and enable data roaming for that line. Keep your regular SIM for calls and SMS.

## 5. Manage the plan

The eSIM details screen shows your remaining data, validity, network, package details, and available actions such as top-up or support.
