# Install your SimSIM eSIM

> Install your eSIM before you travel and configure it as your data line.

You need an internet connection to install an eSIM. Install it before your trip while you have reliable Wi-Fi.

## Install from the app

1. Open **My eSIMs**.
2. Open the eSIM with the **Ready to install** status.
3. Tap **Install eSIM** and follow your device's prompts.
4. If you need another method, open the menu and choose **Install on another device** to view the QR or manual details.

## After installation

* Set SimSIM as your mobile data line.
* Enable data roaming for the SimSIM line.
* Keep your regular SIM active for calls and SMS.
* Avoid deleting the eSIM while it is usable. A deleted profile cannot be reinstalled from the app.
